Rick Damiani, PHD, PE


Dr. Damiani is an expert in the specialized field of wind engineering and fluid dynamics. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles spanning various aspects of atmospheric flow patterns and energy extraction.
His research background includes techniques to retrieve wind fields from airborne dual‐Doppler radar, boundary layer fluid dynamics, and convective cloud internal aerodynamics.
In his eleven years of practice, he has been involved in the development of more than 500MW of wind power projects; he has worked on international projects focusing on CFD design optimization, power generation, small wind turbine design and testing, as well as structural engineering.
Dr. Damiani holds B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautical Engineering, and a Ph.D. degree in Atmospheric Science.

Keith Hansen


Mr. Hansen has vast experience in many projects spanning across mechanical, electrical, concrete, and steel fabrication for civil and structural construction projects. He has been involved in the design, construction and installation of meteorological towers, telecommunication towers, remote weather stations, well and pipeline systems, heavy construction machinery and tooling. Mr. Hansen is an expert MIG welder, and holds a Trade-DeVry Certificate in Electric and Electronics, and has received OSHA training in safety and risk avoidance.

Stephanie Damiani


Stephanie has worked extensively with manufacturing companies in the past, and brings a wealth of resources to RRD Engineering. She is in charge of communication and marketing within the company. Steph also holds a degree in Accounting.

Max Franchi, PHD, PE


Dr. Franchi is one of the most brilliant structural engineers. He is also well-renowned in Europe. He collaborates with RRD Engineering on a number of different projects, and offers his expertise in mechanical and civil engineering. Under his belt are design projects of highway bridges, shopping centers, warehouses, and airport hangars. He holds B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautical Engineering, and a special Honor Degree in fluid-dynamics from the Von Karman Institute.

Brad Cochran


Mr. Cochran is an experienced Wind Engineer, with expertise in Mechanical and Aerospace Engienering. He has been involved in the design of numerous small wind turbines (including building integrated wind turbines), in large wind resource assessment, and in air quality projects. Mr. Cochran is a contributor author to AWEA standards for small wind turbines.
